Privacy Policy

MoveIT is a corporate wellness and gamification application developed strictly for internal use by employees of Quadient s.r.o. ("we", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently. Participation is entirely voluntary.
1. Data We Collect
- Profile Information: Your email address, name (optional - you can use a nickname), and avatar. This is used solely for authentication and creating your profile within the internal leaderboards. You have the option to enable a "Hidden Profile", which allows you to participate anonymously (e.g. as "Mystery Ninja").
- Health & Fitness Data: With your explicit permission, the app reads your active exercise time (Exercise Minutes) and specific Workout Types (e.g. running, swimming) from Apple Health (HealthKit) on iOS or Health Connect on Android. We DO NOT collect clinical health data like heart rate, weight, or blood pressure.
- Diagnostic Data: To improve app stability, we collect anonymous crash reports and error logs (e.g., OS version, device model). These logs do not contain any health data or personally identifiable information.
MoveIT only reads your "Apple Exercise Time" and workout sessions to calculate daily progress for internal company challenges. We do not write data to Apple Health.
HealthKit data is NEVER used for marketing, advertising, or sold to third parties. It is strictly used to provide the gamification functionality within the app.
2. How We Use Your Data
The collected data is used exclusively for:
- Operating the MoveIT application and maintaining internal leaderboards.
- Calculating individual challenge scores and granting gamification rewards (badges).
- Authorized administrators may use AI tools to create challenge text and badge images. Employee personal data and activity data are not provided to these tools.
- HR Protection: Data collected by MoveIT is NEVER used to evaluate employee performance or for any HR-related purposes.
3. Data Sharing & Security
We do not share, sell, or rent any of your personal or health data to any third party for marketing or advertising. However, we do use trusted Service Providers (Subprocessors) strictly to operate the app (such as secure cloud database hosting and transactional email delivery for login codes). These providers are contractually bound to strict privacy standards and GDPR compliance.
Your data is securely hosted on modern cloud servers located strictly within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) to ensure full compliance with GDPR data sovereignty principles. Only authorized system administrators have access for maintenance purposes.
4. Your Rights & Data Deletion (GDPR)
You have the right to access, modify, or permanently delete your data. You can delete all your personal data, including your health records, at any time directly from the MoveIT app by navigating to your Profile and tapping the red Delete Account button. This action is irreversible and immediately wipes all your data from our servers.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained only for as long as you maintain an active account with MoveIT. If you leave the company or decide you no longer wish to participate, you may use the in-app deletion feature. Inactive accounts may also be periodically purged as part of standard database maintenance.
Terms of Use
1. Voluntary Participation
MoveIT is an entirely voluntary internal initiative. Using the app is not a condition of your employment at Quadient.
2. Fair Play
MoveIT relies on data synced from your personal devices. We expect sportsmanship and fair play. Please do not artificially manipulate your health data to cheat the leaderboards.
3. Disclaimer & No Liability
MoveIT is a gamification app, not a medical or professional fitness tool. Please exercise at your own risk and consult a doctor before starting any new physical activity. Quadient is not liable for any injuries, health issues, or damages resulting from your participation in MoveIT challenges. Don't push yourself beyond your limits just to get the first place!
